Snow from Heaven

This was a week for unusual weather in the South.  Last Sunday afternoon was sunny and comfortable in the 50s. Monday brought cold, Tuesday brought snow, Wednesday brought snow/sleet, and Thursday brought even more snow.  On Thursday morning we had over 5 inches of snow.  For something that happens only once or twice a decade, we had to get busy.  There were snowmen to build, sleds to ride and snow cream to make.

Isaiah 55:10-11  For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

So glad God sent us 'snow from heaven' to water the earth to help our plants grow.  I believe spring is just around the corner!
