On a typical weekday, I work 8 1/2 to 9 hours, pick up take out for both lunch and dinner, and sit in my lounge chair each evening to read until it's time for bed. I'm like a sloth. I want to physically feel better. I need to exercise, eat better and increase my energy. I need a plan.
I want to ride my bike a few times each month, working up to at least weekly. I'm going to look for a bike rack to transport my bike for those rides. I want to eat out less often, so I sat down with my 10-year-old and planned out a menu for the upcoming week.
I've spent this past week researching and I've decided to try some natural supplements designed to maintain a good weight, good health and increase energy. They are plant-based and I'm hopeful that a return to natural foods and herbs will help me reach my health goals.
Hebrews 6:7 For the earth which drinks in the rains that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God;
I'm afraid that I'll get lazy and give up, so I'm writing about it here and I've posted my plan on Facebook. I'm hoping that this public accountability and even having others on the same journey will help me reach my goal. I'll keep you updated.
